| Rocks and Minerals![]() We have a selection that includes among others, both amethyst and quartz geodes, large selenite crystals, septarian nodules, fools gold, labradorite, ruby, emerald, moldavite and metiorites. Amethyst Geodes Air pockets trapped in volcanic lava. Inside these bubbles beautiful crystals of Amethyst have grown, creating Ametyst Cathedrals. They vary in price from about £50 to £2000 for this huge one below. It is about 125kg which is about 18 stones in weigth.
This one contains Amethyst and the white crystals you can see are Calcite. There are also some small Quartz points in there. It was excavated in Brazil. Click here for our Cathedral Geode page. Maraba Amethyst These Maraba Amethyst Points are from the Amazon. They are large (Approaching 9cm [3.5 inches] about 400grams [14oz]) and very dark purple. Priced at £20.00 each
OUT OF STOCK Quartz Geode Rocks from north Africa have been broken open to reveal beautiful quartz formations. We have small ones for about £7 to our largest at £165. The medium ones here are about the size of a large potatoes at about 4" to 5" (approx 10cm to 13cm) priced at £16 each.
Rock Box Case of crystals and minerals - shown here next to a 25cm (10") ruler - contains 12 specimens - Zebra Jasper, Honey Calcite, Natural Agate, Red Jasper, Rose Quartz, Blue Quartz, Amethyst, Orange Calcite, Sodalite, Spotted Jasper, Rock Crystal, Green Quartz. Each weighs about 50 grams.
Prophecy Stones Prophecy stones are a Hydrogen Iron Oxide containing manganese. They are concretions which means they are a rounded mass of mineral matter found in sedimentary rock. They are unusually heavy for their size. They were found in the Sahara Desert.
Dragon's Eggs
These stones have a slice taken off them and polished to show them off. They come in Quartz (top right), Rose Quartz (top left) , Smokey Quartz (bottom left), and Amethyst (bottom right). The Quarts and Smokey Quarts ones have the wonderful affect of being able to see into the stone and look at the rough surface from the inside. Often called Dragon's Eggs or Seer's Stones (For those who 'see' the future). These are all unique. The rough sizes can be seen in the picture above next to the 50p coin. We have variose coloured calcites - green, blue, white, orange, emerald (brighter green), corral (Orange in long shapes) and sometimes others too. Some are available here on line. Each is approx 5cm long and 50 grams. Priced at £3.00 a piece Phenacite (Phenakite)
Price £9.50 each Out of Stock Leopardskin Rhyolite Rhyolite is volcanic rock with high silica (quartz) content. Usually unremarkable though we have Leopardskin Rhyolite from Mexico with its coloured patterns. Said to build self confidence and self esteem. These are Muscovite Mica These particular samples are from Russia. They are yellow in colour. Muscovite Mica is a hydrated silicate of potassium and aluminum. Its layers flake easily.
Lepidolite Mica This contains a high quantity of lithium. Like other micas it is made of fragile layers that flake easily. These specimins are purple in colour.
Silicon This is from Silicon Valley in California, USA. Often found as chips in your computer. This semi-conductor looks like metal but feels very light.
Danburite This is built up of calcium, boron and silica. Our samples are white. Experienced crystal healers sometimes use this for highly specific precision healing. It can be used to keep other healing tools to maintain their strength.
